The expansion of overseas business by UnionPay International has led to an increased demand for issuing UnionPay cards by foreign financial institutions. Through a close cooperation with UnionPay International, Gifpay provides technical construction and operation services for the issuance system in cooperation with overseas institutions.

The overseas issuance system aims to provide an IC card system for issuing and accepting cards that comply with the PBOC 3.0 technical specifications in overseas regions. The business functions consist of a prepaid card core account system, business system, IC card online transaction system, IC card data preparation system, data exchange system, key management system, and comprehensive management control console.

In November 2021, Gifpay began developing a prepaid card issuance and account system with complete functionalities for BONGLOY in Cambodia. The agreement has been signed.

In June 2022, the system was officially launched.
